ParticipAction Day occurred right in the middle of a record-breaking heat spell. Despite that we had an incredible turnout of members (41) who came to play a game of Triples and 14 Family & Friends who accompanied members to experience the game of Bowls.
Our Club coaches were there to help our guests with the fundamentals of the game and then released them to their Family or Friends for a game. Our younger guests ranged from 6 to 10 years of age, and they were having a blast playing a game with their grandparents.
After the games we all enjoyed a slice or two of pizza, in the shade!
