A new Main Menu page has been created called Bowling Events. The Tournaments & Leagues pages have been moved under the BOWLING EVENTS as drop-down lists.

BOWLING EVENTS: A new Main Menu page has been created and it will be the home to all our bowling events. This page is still under construction but will eventually host as an example some of the the following:

We now have a total of 32 new members who have joined our Club this year. We also want to welcome the return of 3 members who were not able to join us last year. Secondary and Associate members can once again play at more than one Club. Good news all around. We continue to receive weekly enquiries through our website and with luck and good management our numbers will continue to grow.

These Leagues will not go forward this year due to lack of members interested in playing on those evenings

Symptoms Screening Questionnaires (SSQ) are no longer required. However, if any of the stated conditions apply, you must return home and self isolate. Bowlers MUST NOW INITIAL BESIDE THEIR NAME on the ROSTER SHEET for the date they are in attendance. The dated Roster sheet will be attached to the inside of the Equipment Room door and is required for Contact Tracing.

ParticipAction Day occurred right in the middle of a record-breaking heat spell. Despite that we had an incredible turnout of members (41) who came to play a game of Triples and 14 Family & Friends who accompanied members to experience the game of Bowls.

We have opted to discontinue the Thrifty Cards as a fund raiser due to the new program Thrifty’s have implemented. It has the potential to be an administrative nightmare. The executive has voted to end the Smile Cards effective June 15th.

Canada Day bowling was a fun success.

that the refund go to the Juan de Fuca Lawn Bowling account. If donating at the
Langford depot you can ask them to add the donation to account #552 (the JDFLB
account).

                                JUNE 26, 2021 PARTICIPACTION DAY & OPEN HOUSE. We are in ParticipAction the month of June, of which we have received a Grant of $250 to be used to promote ParticipAction in Sport.
