Congratulations to our own Mark Legacy & Pat Levie who went undefeated in 5 games to come first overall in the Bowls South Island’s first ‘Open’ Tournament of the season and win the Galleon Cup Mixed Pairs held at JDFLBC during the weekend.

Also to our Lynda Robbins & Doug Hartford, second place overall with a record of 4 wins and 1 tie.

Third place to Anne Murfitt along with Nick Mays of Lakehill LBC with 4 wins and 1 loss.

Well done to all , good job.

And a big thanks to all our Organizers during the two days, Jerry Thomas & Byron Propp for greens set up and tear down, Vern Atkinson, Nigel Corser, Wendy Leach & Brenda Thomson for  tournament registration, draw master and scorecard entry, Shannon Baggot and her kitchen support team for the Tea & Goodies, John Turnbull for our 50/50, Cherlynn & Rob for refreshments and our Umpires Steve & Jill Foster on Saturday and Dave & Ann Mathie on Sunday.
