A Two Bowl Six Pac Saturday Afternoon
Two games using 2 bowls per player of 6 ends each game. It can be played as a triples game or a pairs game under our Laws at JDF (Winner of the end just played sets the Jack, Dead (Burnt) End placed on the 2 meter mark, etc.).
If 2 opposing bowls are so close to the jack that a winner cannot easily be declared, the point can be split rather than a delay for measuring.
There is a “normal” rotation of players – each Lead delivers their 2 bowls on an alternate schedule, then each Vice does the same, & finally each Skip follows.
If played as a pairs game, of course there is just a Lead & a Skip. Each end is scored 1 point for each shot bowl.
For each game, there are 3 points for a win & 1 point for a tie.
At the end of the first game, the Loser stays on the rink they just played on, the Winner moves to the rink on their right & plays the incumbent there.
A short (15 mins.) break for a refreshment between games is allowed for.
Enjoying your afternoon of bowling is mandatory!
