Juan de Fuca Lawn Bowls Club is located in the heart of the city of Colwood, one of the 13 municipalities of Greater Victoria. In the spring of 2023 Juan de Fuca LBC celebrated 30 years. Our four exquisite greens are a legacy from the Commonwealth Games in 1994. We are the only club in British Columbia with four greens and as a result we have hosted three Canadian Championship tournaments, this will be our fourth. We also had the pleasure of hosting a Junior Canadian Championship in 2019.
We were very pleased and honoured to hear that our Club was awarded the 2023 Canadian Lawn Bowling Championships. This event will be held at the Juan de Fuca greens from August 18th thru August 26th, 2023, starting off with the Singles then followed by the Pairs & Fours.
Pictures from the Bowl for the Cure, which JDF LBC hosts each year. It is a charity tournament in which members from all 11 clubs within the Bowls South Island attend. There are a total of 32 teams registered and each team is made up of a minimum of 4 players and has gone as high as 16 on a team, playing in a Quaddie tournament.
