LADIES THURSDAY MORNING LEAGUE CANCELLED FOR JULY 28th

Hi everyone

This email is to let you all know that I am cancelling our Thursday Morning LB game for July 28th due to the heat.  While it cools off slightly overnight, it heats up again very quickly in the morning and I don’t think it is a wise choice to play when we don’t have to.

I am sorry for the lateness of this email but I was hopeful that the weather might cool down a bit…but it doesn’t seem like this will happen.

See you all next week….

Sent on behalf of Linda T and if you have any questions, please email Linda

THANK YOU & MORE PLEASE SIR ????

Thank you to everyone that has donated baking, it was greatly appreciated by members and guests.  As we are in the height of tournament season, we could really use additional baking donations for the upcoming Provincial Pairs and Joan Price Quaddie.  Sweet treats such as cookies, squares, cakes, cupcakes and muffins are always appreciated.

On another note, we have quite a few containers that have transported your baking to the club. We have left the containers & pans washed, outside the kitchen door for your pick up.

Thanks

Shannon

MONDAY NIGHT LADDERS in JEOPARDY

Our Monday Night Ladder is scheduled to start on Monday June 27th however to date we only have 5 or 6 signed up and without 16 to 20 participants it will not be viable to proceed and will be cancelled, so if you are a bit unsure on how it works ask one of your Games Committee or other senior bowler.

Again this is open to all bowlers regardless of skill level, it will normally be a pairs game subject to numbers attending and is good experience for everyone including novices.

So if you are thinking about it and sitting on the fence, give it a try and sign up on the sheet in the clubhouse,
